Nursing is a profession within the health care sector focused on the care of individuals, families, and communities so they may attain, maintain or recover optimal health and quality of life.

"Nursing is the protection, promotion and optimization of health and abilities; prevention of illness and injury; alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human responses and advocacy in health care for individuals, families, communities and populations."


• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

• Minimum education 10+2 class passed with Biology & English with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board.

  • Objective

After completion of the B.Sc. Nursing Degree Program, the graduates will be able to:

• Assess health status and identify nursing needs, plain, implement and evaluate nursing care for individuals, families and communities.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of the scientific principles underlying the techniques and methods used in nursing for providing holistic nursing care to the sick in the hospital and in the community
• Demonstrate leadership and administrative skills in working with the health care team, community and others in the provision of health care.
• Develop teaching and management skills.
• Recognize the need for continued learning for personal and professional development.
• Practice ethical values in personal and professional life.
