It was a moment of immense honour and spiritual enrichment for Syadwad Institute of Higher Education and Research when Param Pujya Yugal Muni Shri 108 Shivanand Ji Maharaj and Prashmanand Ji Maharaj graciously accepted our invitation and visited the institute on Sunday, 26th October 2025. The entire campus was filled with devotion and positivity as the revered Muni Shri arrived. Faculties and students gathered to listen to his enlightening holy speech, which inspired everyone with messages of peace, discipline, and self-awareness. Muni Shri also performed Aahar Charya, which provided students and staff an opportunity to witness the sacred Jain traditions and learn about the values of simplicity and self-restraint. All present took the blessings of Maharaj Shri with deep reverence. The visit created an atmosphere of spirituality and learning, leaving a lasting impression on everyone’s hearts.
Our campus joyfully celebrated the Diwali Mela, a festival that filled the surroundings with lights, laughter, and creativity. Students, teachers, and staff came together to embrace the true spirit of Diwali — the victory of light over darkness. The event featured exciting activities such as Rangoli Making, Mehndi Designing, Stall Decoration, and Poster Making. The entire celebration reflected unity, joy, and the cultural charm of this beautiful festival.
The Lamp Lighting Ceremony was held on 4th October,2025 at SIHER with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event began at 10:00 AM with a Hawan Pooja, invoking divine blessings for peace, prosperity, and success. All dignitaries, faculty members, and students actively participated, creating a spiritual and auspicious beginning to the program.
On 1st October 2025, our campus came alive with rhythm and color during the grand Dandiya Fest celebration. The event featured exciting group and solo dance competitions, where students showcased their talent, coordination, and festive spirit. Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, participants danced to lively beats, filling the atmosphere with joy and energy. The evening truly reflected the cultural beauty and togetherness of Navratri.
On 14 November 2025, Syadwad Institute of Higher Education and Research, Baghpat, celebrated Children’s Day in remembrance of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The occasion was marked with enthusiasm and active participation from students. Various sports activities were organized to promote physical fitness, team spirit, and healthy competition. The events included the 100-Meter Race Girls and boys, 200-Meter Race Girls and boys, Badminton, Shot Put, Javelin Throw, Kho- Kho Lemon-and-Spoon Race, and Sage Race, Pickup and Drop. The celebration concluded successfully with students showcasing great energy, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the programme.

8th Talent Hunt Quiz Competition – 28 January 2026
Our college successfully organized the 8th Talent Hunt Quiz Competition with great enthusiasm and energy, providing a wonderful platform for young minds to showcase their knowledge, confidence, and intellectual abilities. Students from many different schools participated actively, making the event lively and highly competitive. The program was graced by the honorable presence of Chief Guest Dr. Satyapal Singh, along with Special Guests Sh. Rajendra Sharma and Sh. Abhimanyu Gupta, whose motivating words inspired the participants to aim higher and continue learning. The quiz competition not only encouraged healthy competition but also helped students enhance their general awareness, teamwork, and communication skills. The entire campus was filled with excitement, curiosity, and a spirit of learning, making the event a grand success and a memorable experience for all students, teachers, and guests present.
Republic Day – 26 January 2026
Our institution celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The program began with a flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by an inspiring Chairman’s speech that motivated students to become responsible citizens and contribute positively to the nation. As a step towards environmental responsibility, we also planted a tree on our campus ground, symbolizing growth, sustainability, and our commitment to a greener future. The celebration concluded with colorful cultural performances, including patriotic songs and dances that showcased unity, talent, and love for the country, making the day truly memorable for everyone present.
Learning, Service, and Exploration-Educational Tour Highlights – 25 Dec 2025 – 30 Dec 2025
Syadwad Institute of Higher Education and Research, Baghpat organized an enriching Educational Tour to Madhya Pradesh that offered students a perfect blend of academic exposure, social responsibility, and cultural exploration. During this tour, the Nursing Department organized a health camp at Maghgawa, where students actively participated in providing basic health services and conducted a survey among children in the tribal areas. This experience helped students understand community health needs and develop empathy, teamwork, and professional skills.Along with this meaningful social initiative, students enjoyed an unforgettable journey through some of India’s most historic and spiritual destinations. The tour covered Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Agra, and Mathura, where students explored ancient temples, sacred rivers, majestic forts, and cultural heritage sites. Each location offered valuable learning opportunities about India’s rich history, traditions, and architecture. This educational tour was not just a journey, but a transformative learning experience that strengthened students’ academic knowledge, social awareness, and cultural understanding. It truly became a memorable chapter in their educational journey, filled with learning, service, and exploration.
National Pollution Control Day – 2 Dec 2025
On 2nd December 2025, Syadwad Institute of Higher Education & Research organized a community awareness program on the occasion of National Pollution Control Day. As part of the initiative, students performed an impactful street skit in Mavikalla and Tatiri, spreading awareness about the dangers of air, water, and environmental pollution and encouraging people to adopt preventive measures.The students also highlighted the importance of “No Plastic Use”, explaining the harmful effects of plastic on the environment and motivating the community to choose eco-friendly alternatives.To support this cause, cloth bags were distributed to local residents, promoting sustainable practices in daily life.This initiative reflects the institute’s strong commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to creating a cleaner and greener future.
Interdepartmental Visit: BCA I Semester at ITOT Workshop – 27 Nov 2025
The BCA I Semester students of Syadwad Institute of Higher Education and Research visited the Syadwad ITOT Fitter and Electrician Workshop on 27 November 2025, where they observed live demonstrations, explored workshop equipment, and learned basic electrical and fitting concepts. The visit provided valuable practical exposure, strengthened their technical understanding, and enhanced interdisciplinary learning beyond the classroom.
Health Camp – 21 Nov 2025
Syadwad Institute of Higher Education and Research organized a free health camp on 21 November 2025. The camp included specialized OPDs in Cardiology, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, General Physician, Dental, Homeopathy, and Ayurveda, Physiotherapy. Blood tests were conducted, essential medicines were distributed free of cost, and prosthetic limbs were also provided to beneficiaries.
World Stress Awareness Day – 19 Nov 2025
A seminar on Psychotherapy was organized on the occasion of World Stress Awareness Day at Syadwad institute of higher education and research baghpat. The session aimed to enhance understanding of stress management techniques and to highlight the role of psychotherapy in promoting mental well-being. The seminar provided valuable insights into various therapeutic approaches, coping strategies, and the importance of seeking timely psychological support. Participants actively engaged in the discussion and gained meaningful knowledge to apply in both personal and professional contexts.
B.Ed Internship & Social Awareness in Tribal Area
The B.Ed. internship at Patni Upper Primary School proved highly successful. Trainees Bikram and Imran completed their internship with full energy, creativity, and commitment. Their remarkable efforts significantly enhanced student engagement and learning outcomes. The supervision and guidance of Dr. Rakesh Kumar played a crucial role in shaping their professional skills.
World Diabetes Day – 14 Nov 2025
“The science of life” Anatomy Showcase was held on 14th November 2025 at SIHER to mark World Diabetes Day, celebrated with great enthusiasm and academic interest. The program began at 2:00 PM, featuring an impressive display of working anatomical models, including the cell, lungs, heart, joints, gastrointestinal system, and brain.Students actively demonstrated the functions and interconnections of these systems, highlighting how diabetes can impact various organs of the body. Faculty members and dignitaries appreciated the creativity and efforts of the students, which made the event both informative and engaging.The showcase successfully promoted health awareness and enriched students’ understanding of human anatomy in relation to diabetes, creating a meaningful and educational experience for all participants.
Divyang Camp and Blood Donation Camp – 11 Nov 2025
The Syadwad Jain Educational & Social Trust, Baghpat, in collaboration with Tarun Mitra Parishad, successfully organized a Free Divyang Camp and Blood Donation Camp at the campus of Syadwad Institute of Higher Education & Research (SIHER) on 11th November 2025.The event was organized with the support of Rotary Club of Ghaziabad Viraasat in association with Rotary Blood Bank, Noida.The inaugural ceremony was graced by Sh. Abhimanyu Gupta Ji, Sh. Ashok Jain Ji, and Sh. Sihkar Chand Jain Ji, who formally inaugurated both the camps and encouraged participants and volunteers.In the Divyang Camp, a total of 41 differently-abled patients attended with various physical disabilities. Necessary medical assessment and registration were conducted for the provision of artificial limbs, calipers, orthosis (shoes), and hearing aids as per individual requirements.In the Blood Donation Camp, a total of 135 volunteers registered themselves for blood donation. After medical screening, 34 donors were found eligible and successfully donated blood.Both the programs were conducted smoothly under the guidance of the organizing committee and with active participation from staff, students, and community members. The camps received excellent response and appreciation from attendees and local authorities. Overall, the event was a great success, achieving its objective of serving humanity through health and social welfare initiatives.
National Education Day – 11 Nov 2025
On the occasion of National Education Day, our institution organized an engaging Speech Competition on the thought-provoking theme “Artificial Intelligence in Education: Boon or Bane?”. The event aimed to encourage students to express their views on how AI is transforming the learning landscape.
Students participated with great enthusiasm and confidence, presenting well-researched opinions, real-life examples, and creative ideas. The competition not only enhanced their communication and analytical skills but also inspired everyone to reflect on the responsible use of technology in education.
The event concluded with appreciation for all participants and acknowledgment of their efforts.
द्वितीय ग्राम प्रधान सम्मान सम्मेलन 2025 – 8 Nov 2025
The Syadwad Institute of Higher Education and Research, River Park, Baghpat, organized a seminar on the topic “The Role of Public Representatives in Indigenous Production and Consumption” as part of the “Adopt Swadeshi, Make the Country Self-Reliant” campaign. Village heads from Baghpat district participated in the seminar. Through this seminar, all the village heads of Baghpat district shared information about the local products of their respective villages on a common platform. On this occasion, Assistant Professor Shafali Goyal of the institute also launched a website for the village heads of the district, which includes details of the work done by the village heads as well as information about the cultural heritage of Baghpat district.
Guest Lecture on the Indian Knowledge System– 6 Nov 2025
A Guest Lecture on the Indian Knowledge System was organized in our institution to help students understand the richness and depth of India’s traditional wisdom. The session was conducted by Dr. Shanu Jain, who enlightened the students with her valuable insights on the Indian Knowledge System and its relevance in modern times. Dr. Jain explained various concepts and techniques inspired by ancient thinkers like Chanakya, highlighting how their ideas continue to guide us even today. The lecture encouraged students to appreciate India’s intellectual heritage and apply its timeless principles in their daily lives.
It was an informative and inspiring session that left students with a deeper respect for India’s cultural and educational legacy.
Cyber Security Quiz Competition – 31st October
On 31st October, Syadwad Institute of Higher Education & Research, Baghpat organized a Cyber Security Quiz Competition to enhance students’ awareness about digital safety, cyber threats, safe browsing practices, phishing attacks, password protection, and cyber laws. The event began with a brief introduction to the importance of cyber security, followed by a single MCQ-based quiz in which students participated enthusiastically and showcased their knowledge. The competition helped strengthen cyber awareness among the participants, and certificates were awarded to the winners. Overall, the event proved to be highly informative and beneficial for the students.
Innovation Day – 15 October 2025
Syadwad Institute of Higher Education celebrated Innovation Day on 15 October 2025, marked by an engaging Speech Competition that encouraged students to express their ideas on innovation and future possibilities. Participants delivered inspiring speeches on emerging technologies, creative problem-solving, and the role of innovation in shaping tomorrow’s world. The event aimed to enhance students’ confidence, communication skills, and innovative thinking. Winners were awarded certificates, and all participants were appreciated for their enthusiastic involvement, making the celebration both meaningful and memorable.
World Handwashing Day – 15 October 2025
The Syadwad Institute of Higher Education and Research celebrated Global Handwashing Day on 15th October 2025 with great enthusiasm and awareness spirit. The event aimed to highlight the importance of hand hygiene and its role in preventing diseases and promoting overall health.
World Mental Health Day – 10 October 2025
World Mental Health Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and awareness at Syadwad Institute of Higher Education and Research, Baghpat on 10th October 2025. The aim of the celebration was to promote understanding, compassion, and awareness regarding mental health, especially in times of disasters, crises, and emergencies when emotional resilience is most needed.
Workshop on AI in Finance , HR & SCM- 6 October 2025
A Workshop on “Artificial Intelligence in Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM)” was organized in our institution to provide students with practical insights into the growing role of AI in these sectors. The session was conducted by Mr. Brijesh Bhatiya, who shared his expertise on how Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing financial decision-making, forecasting, and supply chain optimization.During the workshop, Mr. Bhatiya engaged students in interactive discussions and hands-on activities to help them understand real-world applications of AI. The students participated enthusiastically in the activities, and the winners were awarded prizes in recognition of their performance and creativity.
The workshop proved to be an enriching and interactive learning experience, inspiring students to explore the innovative possibilities of AI in the world of finance and management.
